The full video of Knoll’s Taps performance has been shared to The Standard Newspaper, Waukon Facebook page, with permission, from its original public posting by DeBuhr. The following link to that news broadcast shows Knoll’s musical remembrance near the end of its introduction segment about one minute into the broadcast. The CBS Evening News put out a nationwide call for video submissions of the Remembrance which was reportedly answered by thousands, with Knoll’s video being submitted by Waukon resident Linda DeBuhr and a brief clip of that video being shown at the introduction of the CBS Evening News which aired Tuesday, June 1 at 5:30 p.m. This project calls on musicians across the country to sound Taps at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day, to pause for a duration of one minute to remember those who have died in military service to the United States. This National Moment of Remembrance is an annual event that asks Americans, wherever they are at 3 p.m.
